Manning the glass
Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is hard light which can be seen across Mark's face . There is also contrast seen . When I edited this photo, I adjusted the layers and adjusted the white balance. The camera was set to iso 1600 .
This photo communicates a feeling of enlightenment through the use of the magnifying glass and hard lighting.
Come Up
I selected this photo because of the it's unique point of view from a low angle. Compositionally, the photo is interesting because of it's use of line and shape, and the symmetry seen in the photograph. Also there is contrast in the monochromatic image because of the color difference between the models clothing and the light colored paint. To take this photo I had the camera set on 1/250 (shutter speed) and f/11(aperture/depth of field).
Electric
This photo was taken for the Painting with light assignment.
What I like about this photo is the way that the LED lights glow and give colored shadows to the the model Evan.
My point of view was Head on. The photo
Follows the rule of thirds because Evan is off centered to the right.
The depth of field is shallow which blurs the edges of Evan and his body.
The ISO was set to 6400 and the shutter speed was extremely slow at about 10 seconds.
